LONDON—Due to the escalation of COVID-19 cases across the U.K., and with the possibility of new restrictions in early 2022, London-based trade show 100% Optical has announced the postponement of its 2022 show, originally scheduled for Jan. 22-24, to new dates April 23-25, 2022. The show will take place at ExCeL London, its original venue. All visitor registration, exhibitor stand, sponsorship and hosted meetings will automatically be transferred to the new dates. Show organizers are working to reconfirm speaker availability in order to honor CPD and education courses as well.

Nathan Garnett, director for 100% Optical said, “We really appreciate how patient exhibitors, sponsors and record breaking numbers of visitors have been over this tough period. This show has gained so much support over the last few months, we have a duty to deliver it, as soon as it is safe to do so and as early as we can in 2022. We look forward to seeing you in the Spring.”

Adam Sampson, CEO of the Association of Optometrists, said, “We fully support Media 10 in the decision to delay 100% Optical 2022, and applaud the speed at which the team has found a new date in April. As the show’s official partner, we look forward to being part of an event that brings the profession together again—but only at a time when it is safe for everyone to do so.”

Registration for 100% Optical is open online for attendees here and interested exhibitors here.
