Quick Take: Fatheadz is launching a new sunglass collection, All-American V2.0, the fifth product line under the Fatheadz brand.
Wearer: Those unable to wear average-size eyewear.
Specifics: The All-American V2.0 adorns a “Made in America” mark and offers a wide range of well-crafted sunglasses which combine stylish lines with durability and comfort that come in a variety of sizes.
Selling Points: New shades offer state-of-the-art lenses designed with materials commonly used in fighter jet canopies, making them 10 times more resistant. An AR coating added to the inside of each lens reduces the reflection to diminish eye strain and fatigue. In addition, the lenses provide 100 percent UV protection and are glazed to repel water, grease and finger prints. The new line also offers exceptional customization capabilities, providing customers with the freedom to create a one-of-a-kind look.
In addition to selecting a preferred frame style, shoppers have the option to select a desired frame color, branding insignia color and polarized lens color. In keeping with the line’s “Made in America” undertaking, Fatheadz will donate a portion of every sunglass purchase to Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to spouses and children of American’s fallen and disabled service members. “When Fatheadz launched in 2004, our operations strategy included economical manufacturing options to maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace,” said CEO and founder Rico Elmore. “With Fatheadz now accentuated as the leading provider in oversized eyewear, we want the All-American V2.0 line to serve as a catalyst in the American manufacturing renaissance while simultaneously providing substantial support to our veterans.”
