FYSH UK by WestGroupe Launches First Sunwear Line
Quick Take: WestGroupe has announced the worldwide launch of the first FYSH UK sunglass collection.
Wearer: Designed for women who embrace their own sense of style and spirit, the Links collection will incorporate key fashion influences with leading European sunwear trends.
Specifics: The 24-piece, eight-model collection will feature four design concepts, with each concept available in two shapes and three colors. “We have created a collection that is unique, fun, sexy and most importantly, easy to wear,” said Beverly Suliteanu, vice president of product development at WestGroupe. “The color palette has stayed true to the brand with gorgeous rainbow hues for those looking for color, while interesting design details make these sunglasses uniquely FYSH.”
Selling Points: Inspired by the delicate and intricate links in a chain necklace, the primary design feature is a silver metal inlay wrapped around the edge of the frame or embedded into the frame front. Rich, nuanced hues combine with the timeless glamour of black to complete each handcrafted acetate frame. The collection also offers CR-39 lenses in a variety of gradient tints as well as a six-base design to support prescription eyewear.

Modo Adds Acetate Rim to Paper-Thin Collection

Ray-Ban has revamped their 80s-inspired Gatsby style. Morel has released a drill mount collection from Lightec for men and women. Available exclusively as a kit, the entire segment is designed to be “turnkey” for optical retailers. Twelve shapes and 12 colors provide flexibility with 144 possible combinations. With 2.8mm wide temples and a weight of only 6g, this ultra slim, lightweight frame is 100 percent stainless steel. Slim temples allow for a color palette that incorporates both vivid and neutral tones.
