“I am selling the Oliver Peoples Riley almost daily now.
It is the new ‘cash cow’ for Fine Eyes.”
What are you selling?
The Riley looks like a frame that
could have been in the Oliver Peoples line for 25 years and is a type of
style that has made a huge comeback lately. It is very conservative but
gives the wearer some color on their face and is also very lightweight
to wear.
Who’s buying it?
I sell it to both male and female
customers of all ages, from youth to people in their 70s, because of the
great fit and also because it is excellent for a progressive lens and
for a high prescription, either plus or minus.
Why do they like it?
It is a very thin P-3 shape with a
keyhole bridge that fits several types of bridges and comes in multiple
sizes. The color I sell the most is the El Mirage Tortoise because it is
excellent for brown eyes but it also comes in a demi-amber, black, Coco
Bolo and a vintage crystal color. I keep all colors and sizes in stock
so it’s easy to present it to the consumer.
Are you a retailer or an ECP who has a frame or collection you think others should “Check.Out”?
