Owner, Fine Eyes Eyewear, Ridgeland, Miss.

“I am selling the Oliver Peoples Riley almost daily now.
It is the new ‘cash cow’ for Fine Eyes.”

What are you selling?

The Riley looks like a frame that could have been in the Oliver Peoples line for 25 years and is a type of style that has made a huge comeback lately. It is very conservative but gives the wearer some color on their face and is also very lightweight to wear.

Who’s buying it?

I sell it to both male and female customers of all ages, from youth to people in their 70s, because of the great fit and also because it is excellent for a progressive lens and for a high prescription, either plus or minus.

Why do they like it?

It is a very thin P-3 shape with a keyhole bridge that fits several types of bridges and comes in multiple sizes. The color I sell the most is the El Mirage Tortoise because it is excellent for brown eyes but it also comes in a demi-amber, black, Coco Bolo and a vintage crystal color. I keep all colors and sizes in stock so it’s easy to present it to the consumer.

Are you a retailer or an ECP who has a frame or collection you think others should “Check.Out”?
