SUN VALLEY, Calif.—REM Eyewear has launched the Converse Jack Purcell Eyewear collection, which expands Converse Eyewear’s product range to include more sophisticated styles with vintage inspiration.

“We have invested more than two years of product development to create eyewear that aesthetically embodies the brand’s core attributes,” said Mike Hundert, CEO of REM. “Converse Jack Purcell consumers love their experiences with this brand and our eyewear will build on that tradition.”

“Designing Jack Purcell eyewear was a natural process; we took direct inspiration from the brand’s DNA,” added Nicolas Roseillier, creative director of REM. “We used iconic elements such as the smile, the wavy graphic pattern, vintage color palettes, and classic shapes to create a collection that extends Jack Purcell as a lifestyle brand.”

The collection consists of 14 styles; eight optical frames and six sunglasses equipped with CR-39 lenses. Design components support the foundation of Converse Jack Purcell; carefully curated styling that translates this consumer’s “less is more” philosophy.

Highlights include handmade acetate with five to seven barrel hinges, the Jack Purcell logo inside the temples and laser engraved on the right sun lens, the Jack Purcell license plate inside the right temple, the signature Jack Purcell wave pattern at the endpiece and the Jack Purcell “smile” in a metal inlay on the temple tips.
