Being funny is hard. You either have it or you don’t. This week’s Bold Face features three stars for whom comedy just comes naturally. Luckily, looking great in a pair of sunglasses also comes naturally to these funny folks…

Actor Tony Hale had been best known for his role in the hilarious Fox comedy series Arrested Development as the neurotic Byron "Buster" Bluth. That was until he won the 2013 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for his role as Gary Walsh, the sycophantic personal aide to the Vice President of the United States on the HBO comedy Veep. Walsh is the long-term associate and confidante of the VP, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and is portrayed as extremely loyal and giving. Veep was renewed by HBO for a 10-eposode third season which will premier in 2014. After receiving his Emmy statuette, Hale also scooped himself up a pair of these Salvatore Ferragamo SF639S sunglasses from Marchon

Jane Lynch is an actress, singer and comedian. She gained fame in Christopher Guest's improv mockumentary pictures such as Best in Show and has also had notable roles in numerous mainstream comedies, such as Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Role Models and The Three Stooges. But she may be best known for her portrayal of Sue Sylvester in FOX’s Glee, for which she has won a Primetime Emmy, Golden Globe, SAG for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and a People's Choice, among other awards. The fifth season of Glee premiered on FOX on Sept. 26 and airs on Thursdays at 9pm. Lynch wears the Kate Spade Amara sunglasses from Safilo

Steve Carell rose to fame after a five-year stint on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and then found greater fame playing Michael Scott on the American version of The Office. Clearly the man knows funny. He is now a bona fide movie star and his most recent film, The Way Way Back, about a shy 14-year-old who goes on summer vacation with his mother and her overbearing boyfriend, hit this past summer and will be released on DVD on Oct. 22. In the film, he and co-star, Toni Collette, both wear Maui Jim sunwear. Carell wears the Makaha sunglasses and Collette wears the Aloha Friday (not shown). Of course, anticipation is already running rampant for Carell’s next film, Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, with Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd, scheduled for release on Dec. 20.
