Freddie Mercury, lead singer of Queen from 1970 until his death in 1991, is one of the most legendary entertainers in rock history and a hard act to follow. It would take a very special person to even attempt to fill his shoes, but Adam Lambert, the former American Idol contestant who shares a kinship to Mercury in terms of theatrical flair, is certainly up to the task. It turns out that singer/songwriter Kesha cites Queen as an early influence on her musical style, also Madonna, so it is no surprise the outrageous pop star has a penchant for being outrageous. Her unconventional style has understandably evolved through the course of her career and lately has seen her experimenting with hair color.
