It's summer. It's hot. Many people are wearing as little clothing as possible to stay cool. But the three ladies featured in this week's edition of Bold Face have set tongues a' wagging thanks to their seeming comfort with being in the buff...

Lizzy Caplan is an American actress best known for her role in Mean Girls, but her latest role is creating a lot of buzz. She stars as Virginia Johnson, a famed sexologist, in the hit Showtime series Masters of Sex, opposite Michael Sheen as William Masters. It's a role that just earned her an Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy nomination. The show is based on the book Masters of Sex: The Life and Times of William Masters and Virginia Johnson, the Couple Who Taught America How to Love, and because it is a show about sex and is on cable as you can imagine it has its fair share of nudity. Here, however the lovely Lizzy is showing off her love of fashion in the Valentino V670S sunglasses from Marchon...

Not too long ago, Rumer Willis created a bit of controversy by walking topless through the streets of NYC in support of the #FreetheNipple campaign, a movement to protest Instagram's policy of taking down any picture that flashes a bit of nipple. Her point being that it is legal for a woman to be topless in public in NYC but not on Instagram. Regardless, of your personal views on the matter when Rumer is clothed it draws more attention to her fabulous eyewear. Here she wears the Stella McCartney 4040 sunglasses from Luxottica while in L.A. (where it is also legal for women to be topless)...

Rihanna is also a supporter of the #FreetheNipple campaign and in fact had her Instagram account suspended for sharing one too many topless photos. She abandoned the social media platform altogether in protest but that hasn't stopped her from stepping out in next to nothing. She recently attended the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Awards to accept the 2014 Fashion Icon award wearing a custom mesh dress from designer Adam Selman featuring 216,000 Swarovski crystals that left very little to the imagination. When RiRi does opt to wear clothes they are always statement-making. Here she has paired her brightly printed dress with the Dior Exquise sunglasses from Safilo.
