People magazine has carved out a niche for itself in determining the world’s sexiest men… Tough job. In this Bold Face we highlight three men who have made the list…

Jon Hamm was named one of People magazine's Sexiest Men Alive in 2008 and the magazine has singled him out again this year on their website as being a strong contender for the title in the future. That must be gratifying news for his partner of 10 years, Jennifer Westfeldt, who directed, wrote, produced and also stars alongside him in his latest film project Friends with Kids which will be out in theaters next April. Of course, we all know him as Don Draper in AMC’s Mad Men, which returns in March 2012. Ryan Gosling duked it out this year for the title of 2011’s Sexiest Man Alive in People magazine but was inched out by Bradley Cooper, causing Gosling fans to protest outside the magazine's offices. His appeal is undeniable and while they sort that all out, Bold Face will just appreciate the fact that he IS the sexiest man in the movie Crazy, Stupid, Love which is available now on DVD and Blu-Ray. In the movie Gosling wears a pair of vintage-inspired sunglasses from Selima Optique called the Chad, which unfortunately seems to be sold out in the Auburn Tort he is wearing. In 2008, Hugh Jackman was named People magazine’s "Sexiest Man Alive" and this year he was once again named one of the sexiest. It is a distinction that Bold Face heartily agrees with. A prolific actor and action star, Jackman also sings and dances and is currently performing a one-man show on Broadway through the end of the year. Rugged, handsome and talented, Jackman IS the man you wish your man could be like. A regular fixture in his Tribeca, NYC neighborhood, he was recently shot out and about wearing the John Varvatos V753 sunglasses from Base Curve. He’s on a bike.
