CooperVision Appoints Warner as President, N.A.

PLEASANTON, Calif.— CooperVision, Inc., a unit of The Cooper Companies, Inc. (NYSE:COO), has named Jerry Warner as president, North America, responsible for determining the strategic direction of the company’s largest region, driving sustainable business growth and deeper customer relationships in the U.S. and Canada, the company said. Warner previously served as CooperVision’s senior vice president of global marketing. He joined the company in 2012 as vice president, life cycle management. In his new role as head of CooperVision N.A., Warner will report to Dennis Murphy, CooperVision’s executive vice president of global sales and marketing.

Prior to joining CooperVision, Warner was with Bausch + Lomb for 17 years. During that time, he held numerous leadership positions, including vice president of marketing / general manager of global contact lens; vice president of global strategy for contact lens; and director of marketing for lens care – N.A.


Andrew Alcorn
Alcorn Elected Chairman of Superior Vision

LINTHICUM, Md.—The board of directors of Superior Vision Services, Inc. has elected Andrew Alcorn chairman of the board of Superior Vision. Alcorn succeeds Rick Corbett, who recently retired from Superior.

As previously reported by VM, Superior Vision announced its new management structure and unveiled a new visual identity over a year ago, following the managed vision care company’s merger with Block Vision, originally finalized in December that year. Alcorn had been president and CEO of Block Vision. Superior Vision Services, Inc. is organized in two operating divisions, one focused on employee benefit programs, and the other dedicated to health plan customers.

Regarding Alcorn’s new role, Kirk Rothrock, CEO of Superior Vision Services, Inc., said, “Andy will represent Superior Vision to all of our stakeholders and will play an active role as an external representative of our company.”


Rebecca Dunn Kelly O’Grady
Tura Names Dunn and O’Grady to Head Sales Management Team

NEW YORK—Tura Inc. has announced changes to its sales management team with the promotion of Rebecca Dunn and the hire of Kelly O’Grady. Dunn has been promoted to director of sales-eastern region from her current role of senior regional manager, which she has held since 2005.

In her new role, Dunn will oversee the 3Os and key account activity for all sales districts in the eastern half of the U.S. She joined Tura as a sales consultant in 1993.

O’Grady has joined Tura as director of sales-western region. In this capacity, O’Grady will oversee the 3Os and key account activity for all sales districts in the western half of the U.S. He has extensive sales management experience in the optical industry, most recently serving as vice president of sales for the western region with Marcolin.
