VALLEY VIEW, Ohio—John Sexton has joined the staff of Nanofilm, a global leader in lens care and coatings, as director of Optical Sales. An optical professional with more than 14 years of experience in the industry, he will be working in a variety of markets, including retail optical chains and lens laboratories, as well as overseeing the company’s national network of sales representatives, according to the company.

Sexton will be handling the full range of Nanofilm lens care products including Clarity Clean It, Ultra Clarity, and EcoClens lens cleaners and private label brands, as well as Defog It anti fog.

“John Sexton brings a wealth of optical knowledge and business insight that will be of real value to Nanofilm and our customers,” said Scott Rickert, CEO of Nanofilm.

Sexton has held leadership positions with a number of lens and lens care companies throughout his career. He comes to Nanofilm from Seiko Optical Products of America, where he held the position of national sales manager. ■
