MONTEREY, Calif.—Last month, ABB Concise’s practice development division, Primary Eyecare Network (PEN), held a two-day program here that covered “Exceeding Patient Expectations, Social Media & Technology,” the latest in its popular PIO (Preserving Independent Optometry) series. “PEN has been committed to providing independent optometrists with top-quality educational programs for nearly 30 years,” said Debbie Oseguera, PEN’s director of operations. “PEN fills a need by providing practice management educational opportunities for private practice ODs looking to improve their business skills.”
