PEOPLE: Management Ness Promoted to VP Marketing for Jobson’s Retail Optical Group By Staff Monday, March 7, 2011 12:00 AM NEW YORK—Nancy Ness has been promoted to vice president of marketing for Jobson’s Retail Optical Group, according to Marc Ferrara, CEO Information Services for Jobson Medical Information. “Over the last two decades, Nancy has played an instrumental role in building the Jobson Optical Group’s leading position in the marketplace,” Ferrara stated. “In her new role, Nancy will use her years of industry experience, knowledge and relationship to move our business forward and improve the level of service we provide our readers and clients.” Ness has been with JMI since 1991, and during that time has held a number of key positions in the Optical Group. Most recently, as director of Marketing, Education and Training, she was responsible for the marketing and promotion of 20/20’s CE business and the live programs of Practice Advancement Associates, a division of JMI which creates and manages business education programs for eye care practitioners. In her new role, Ness will be responsible for all marketing for 20/20, Vision Monday as well as Practice Advancement Associates and Jobson’s ECP Business Services unit. ■
