NAVCP Names VSP Vision Care’s McGrann, Chairman of the Board

LAS VEGAS—Jim McGrann, president of VSP Vision Care, was inducted as the chairman of the board of directors of the National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP) during the 2015 Specialty Health Summit held in conjunction with the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO). His two-year term is effective immediately, succeeding Aspasia Shappet, CEO of MESVision, Inc., who was chairwoman during the 2013-2015 two-year term. McGrann has served on the NAVCP board since 2012, and he previously held the office of secretary/treasurer.

“Under Aspasia Shappet’s leadership, NAVCP launched substantial initiatives that will transform the managed vision care industry. I look forward to continuing and building upon her legacy and exploring the future of managed vision care,” McGrann said.

Endres to Leave Vision Council for Head Operations at Shamir Insight

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—After eight years with The Vision Council, Jeff Endres, senior director of technical services and lens processing technology division liaison, will be leaving the organization in June to become vice president of operations for Shamir Insight. To meet member needs, The Vision Council is now searching for lens processing & technology division liaison candidates.

Zyloware Names Camargo Director of Sales for Latin America

Kenmark Promotes Cundiff to Digital Marketing Manager

LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Kenmark has promoted Marissa Cundiff to the position of digital marketing manager.She’s had several years of experience at Kenmark working in customer service, product development, retail and marketing, giving her a great perspective to the optical business, according to the company.

Brian Cullather
Cullather Joins Perfect Squares as Head of Business Development

EULESS, Texas—Brian Cullather, a veteran optical sales and marketing executive, has joined Perfect Squares as vice president of business development. The company, co-founded with Peter Nguyen and Sameer Cholayil in 2014, designs, patents and markets technologically advanced health care monitoring products and optical devices.

Cullather will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities at Perfect Squares, including the launch of three new optical products in 2015.

Cullather brings more than 25 years business experience to his new role, much of it in the optical industry. At Bausch + Lomb he served at various times as national sales director, retail and distributor accounts, manager of sales operations and senior product manager. At Essilor of America, he served as vice president, marketing for the Avisia division, and as director of business development. At Pearle Vision, he owned a franchise that operated as Stonybrook Ventures.
