The execs will discuss the inclusion of 1-800 CONTACTS as an in-network option for members participating in WellPoint’s vision plans, which went into effect in late July. The two will also discuss the creation of a vision care advisory board to assist it in furthering its relationship with its network of providers, Gerber said. “They’ll also discuss their views of healthcare reform on the vision care industry,” he added, noting “1-800 CONTACTS, Inc., a subsidiary of WellPoint, Inc.
