Latest News Warby Parker Releases Another Unconventional Annual Report By Staff Friday, January 9, 2015 12:21 AM NEW YORK—Warby Parker’s tradition of releasing unconventional annual reports continues with yesterday’s release of its 2014 Year in Review, and this year it’s become interactive to consumers with the make-your-own Annual Report Generator. The Year in Review consists of a webpage with an array of 24 animated icons, which when clicked bring the viewer to a description of one of the company’s milestones from 2014. These include the launch of offering progressive lenses online, the opening of an adjunct corporate office in Nashville, and the opening of brick-and-mortar locations in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Chicago and Atlanta. The make-your-own Annual Report Generator enables users to create their own customized annual report to share with friends and family. Visitors to the site who answer a few simple questions will have their data transformed into their own annual report featuring unscientifically determined yet fun facts such as their spirit animal, a sleep analysis, suggested reading and a Latin motto for 2014. Other creative endeavors Warby Parker highlighted from 2014, the company’s fourth anniversary, included the launch of the Warby Parker Press in-house publishing imprint and a collaboration with the musician Beck featuring a co-designed frame and the release of an album with other musicians performing music from Beck’s Song Reader.
