NEW YORK—Kalie McCartin, a first-year OD student (and president of the Class of 2017) at Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, turned her passion for music and lyric writing into A fun and clever parody of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” pop sensation in this special video, which finds a new way to talk about the important work optometrists do. McCartin’s concept was photographed and edited by videographer, AJ Pastor, another first year OD student, along with their colleagues Joe Rispoli, Delon Lawrence and many others.
