ATLANTA—Nearly 7,000 eyecare professionals are expected to attend SECO 2015, SECO International’s 92nd annual meeting to be held March 4 to 8, 2015, at the Georgia World Congress Center. This year’s theme, “Where Sight Meets Vision,” is “a nod to the forward-thinking nature of SECO’s educational offerings,” according to show sponsors.

With continuing education (CE) a primary focus of the event, SECO 2015 will feature more than 250 CE courses. The OD program includes six special sessions and the Symposium Series with more than 100 additional courses. The allied ophthalmic professionals program includes more than 140 courses, and 15 team-centered learning courses were designed for entire office teams to learn together.

Social and networking events will include the Saturday Night, Under the Lights party at the new College Football Hall of Fame, with tailgating, live music and other entertainment, sponsored in part by Essilor, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the Atlanta Convention and Visitor’s Bureau. Friday night will feature receptions for optometry schools from throughout the country. The Optometry’s Marketplace exhibit hall, open Thursday through Saturday, will feature nearly 200 companies and organizations displaying cutting-edge products and services.
