NEW YORK—Education has always been a major driver of Vision Expo’s success and this year’s event is no exception, according to show organizers. Based on 2014 post-show research, ECPs who take advantage of education score slightly higher for overall show satisfaction than exhibits-only attendees.

“There is a buzz in the air and most of the courses that I’ve been to have had great attendance,” said Mark Dunbar, OD, FAAO, co-chair, International Vision Expo Conference. “We’ve expanded the Business Solutions and Practice Management tracks, and the crowdsourced learning programs are a fun way to engage the audience in a meaningful way. We hope to do more of those types of programs when we develop the Vision Expo programs for 2016.

Show organizers believe the content and delivery is focused on what matters to the profession today and is intent on revealing where the industry is headed and what trends are emerging.
