SUN VALLEY, Calif.—REM Eyewear has announced the appointment of Drew Donley as senior director of sales, U.S. In this position, Donley will oversee all domestic sales efforts for REM Eyewear’s optical and sun business, including managing all sales force teams and leading business development initiatives, the company said. Donley will be based out of REM’s U.S. headquarters.

Donley brings more than 20 years of eyewear sales experience to REM, with positions held at Viva International Group as senior vice president of sales in North America, Marcolin U.S. as vice president of sales, leading their optical and specialty retailer division, and Charmant Group, Inc. where he served as regional sales manager.

“As an envious observer of REM’s success throughout the years, I’m thrilled to come onboard and join their team,” said Donley. “I believe in companies who have a great product and offer high quality service, and REM lives up to that. Even more intriguing is the unique culture REM has created that makes the company so special and effective.”

“Drew brings energy, experience and unique perspective to our business, and we’re excited to have him join the team,” added Steve Horowitz, president of REM Eyewear. “Hiring strategic talent who brings creative solutions, like Drew, gives further depth and capabilities to our team. We’re confident that Drew’s responsibility to uphold REM’s core values—Quality, Imagination, Commitment, Collaboration, Wisdom, Trust and Respect—will play a key role in propelling us to continue building on the high quality service we have provided our customers for decades.”
