COSTA MESA, Calif.— MESVision, a national vision benefit company, has announced the launch of MESVisionOptics.com. MESVision Optics is a contact lens website where members can order their contact lenses online. The new website will allow members to have little to no out-of-pocket cost at the time of checkout when they apply their eligible contact lens benefits, the company said.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer our members a contact lens ecommerce site that allows them the ease of using their benefits at the time of purchase. We believe that convenient, affordable solutions like this are a key part of choice for our members and the post Health Care Reform world,” commented Aspasia Shappet, CEO.

MESVisionOptics.com features competitive prices on many contact lens brands as well as other accessories including a selection of sunglasses and reading glasses. Free shipping is available on orders over $50.

The new MESVisionOptics site is powered by Arlington Lens Supply. The two companies worked collaboratively to develop a benefit-focused, consumer friendly experience when ordering contact lenses for MESVision members and their families, Shappet said.

MESVision has provided vision care services since 1976 to large and small employer groups throughout the nation. MESVision offers one of the largest in California and most comprehensive networks in the U.S., comprised of over 21,000 provider locations nationwide with over 39,000 service access points, Shappet told VMail, adding that its members “now have a choice of providers consisting of the five ‘Os’— ophthalmologists, opticians, optometrists, retail optical chains and, now, an online optical website.”

Arlington Lens Supply provides a diverse online retail product line through a wide family of e-commerce websites. The company was founded in 1995 and operates from a 55,000 square foot distribution center and 20,000 square foot call center located in Columbus, Ohio. Arlington is owned by National Vision, Inc.
