SAN DIEGO—The second joint Specialty Health Summit sponsored by the National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP) and the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations, hosted 161 attendees, with 114 vision organizations represented, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn from April 29 to May 1. Other members of the optical community gathered to compare a different set of skills as teams from Essilor, National Vision and Transitions Optical took to the Sarasota International Cricket Club’s field here on Saturday, May 4, for what has become a three-year eyecare-industry tradition—a day-long cricket match.
