MEMPHIS, Tenn.— MCR Safety, a leading manufacturer of safety gear, announced last week the acquisition of U.S. Safety, a division of Parmelee Industries of Lenexa, Kans. U.S. Safety is a manufacturer and supplier of prescription safety eyewear as well as other personal protection equipment.

The acquisition includes the U.S. Safety operations in the U. S. as well as its subsidiary, Parmelee Ltd, based in the United Kingdom.
