NEW YORK—As the Accessories Council marks its 25th anniversary this year, the organization will honor several brands, companies and influencers at its upcoming ACE Awards dinner next month here. Among the 2019 honorees will be Kering Eyewear's CEO, Roberto Vedovotto, who will be presented with the Business Visionary award. Other brands with ties to the eyewear category are also on the 2019 award roster, including Columbia Sportswear, who will get the Legacy award (Columbia has an eyewear collection with Marchon), and Sperry, (which has an eyewear collection with L'Amy America) which will get the Sustainability award, and Steve Madden (who does an eyewear collection with ClearVision Optical) will receive the Visionary award. Todd Snyder, who will be honored as Designer of the Year, does eyewear collaborations with Le Specs and Moscot.

The Accessories Council initiated the ACE Awards in 1997, recognizing global brands and pioneers, positioning them in the forefront of the fashion industry. The ACE Awards are presented to designers, brands, retailers, celebrities and media who have helped to enhance sales and promote accessories. Sponsors of the event include Coterie, Marchon, Sperry, Caleres, Collection 18, Judith Lieber, LIM College, ROSS, Signal brands, Swarovski and TJX.

Additional honorees at the upcoming June 10 event will include 10 Corso Como, Retail Influencer, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the Philanthropy Award to be accepted by Kendra Scott, Ciara who will receive the Style Icon award, Jackie Demeterio, Style Ambassador, Rachael Ray, for Business Launch, Rent the Runway for Retail Innovation, and Saks Fifth Avenue as Retailer of the Year.

The Accessories Council's 2019 President's Award will be presented to Steven Roberts and RJ Graziano.
