NORWALK, Conn.— IDOC has released three dates for its 2014 IDOC University Regional Conferences. These one-day events are open to all independent ODs and their staff.

The first conference will be held Sunday, Sept. 7 in Westchester, N.Y.; Sunday, Sept. 14 in Atlanta, Ga.; and Saturday, Oct. 18 in Phoenix, Ariz.

Doctors can earn continuing education credit during educational sessions. The conferences will cover a variety of topics including, but not limited to, profitability with managed care plans, staff management, training and motivation, social media marketing and online reputation, and building a digital marketing strategy.

Regional conference attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in the popular study group sessions that were a highlight at the 2014 Annual Optometric Business Conference hosted by IDOC. Doctors meet in small groups of 10 to 15 and are led through discussions by a moderator. Conference attendees indicate that they learn valuable lessons from these informal conversations with colleagues and look forward to implementing the new ideas in their practices.

A select number of IDOC vendors will exhibit and offer show specials at each of the regional conferences. Registration and agenda details will be available soon. For more information about IDOC or the IDOC University program, visit www.idoc.net.
