PHOENIX—National vision, dental and hearing benefit provider, Avesis has named Mark Babbitt senior vice president of operations. He will lead the Avesis customer service, quality assurance, learning and development, claims, data integrity, and member enrollment/eligibility departments and administrative operations at Avesis’ headquarters here.

For the past 11 years, Babbitt served in key senior executive positions at Triwest Healthcare Alliance where he was responsible for both corporate and field operations encompassing 96 operational locations which provided support for approximately three million Tricare health plan members.
