Latest News Attendance Trending Up as Expo Maintains an Energetic Pace By Staff Saturday, September 20, 2014 12:36 AM LAS VEGAS—As the show entered its second day, new products, show specials and discounts took center stage, allowing attendees and exhibitors alike to benefit from business opportunities. Traffic in The Galleria, The Suites and various pavilions kept a steady pace and overall attendance was trending up 1.8 percent as compared to last year, according to show organizers. "Everyone here has an insatiable appetite for learning about and seeing the next big thing in eyewear. Our new product showcase, for example, is one of the biggest attractions at Vision Expo,” said Tom Loughran, group vice president, Reed Exhibitions “This year especially, we're hearing about all the ways those innovations are energizing attendees for the classroom and driving buying activity on the exhibit floor. Halfway through the show there's still so much to do and to absorb, from early morning CE sessions to late night receptions, the energy level this year is remarkable," he said.
