MEMPHIS—Alcon is hosting a training event today at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis to help eyecare professionals become more successful in fitting multifocal contact lenses. The event will provide ECPs with tips and techniques on how to successfully fit the lenses for improved patient outcomes as well as educate them on the full portfolio of Alcon Multifocal products, including Dailies Total1 Multifocal Contact Lenses, Alcon said.

“We know how important it is to practices to successfully fit presbyopic patients in multifocal contact lenses with minimal chair time while ensuring the highest degree of patient satisfaction,” said Rick Weisbarth, OD, FAAO, vice president of professional affairs for vision care at Alcon. “This event offers best practices to eyecare professionals so they can efficiently and effectively fit Alcon Multifocal Contact Lenses, including the Dailies Total1 Contact Lenses, which have a 96 perfect fit success.”

The Alcon Multifocal Contact Lens Training Program will take place today at Southern College of Optometry from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. local time.
