ORLANDO—The American Academy of Optometry Foundation (AAOF) has announced the 2018 recipients of the Johnson & Johnson Vision J. Pat Cummings Scholarship. Every year, the AAOF awards this scholarship to exceptional second or third year optometry students. These students are the ones who best demonstrate the ideal eyecare standards of practice, achievement in the classroom and extracurriculars, as well as participation in other professional pursuits such as interactions with patients through internships, community service and other volunteer activities. The 23 recipients will be awarded $875 for their education.
