 This position will be working at the Minneapolis Medical Eye Clinic in Minneapolis, MN


As an Ophthalmic Technician you will assist physicians and work with clinical/clerical staff to facilitate the efficient daily clinic flow of patients. Assist ophthalmologists and optometrists to facilitate the best use of their time and prepare patients for examination. Duties include: complete preparations for patient visits, take patient medical histories and schedule ancillary patient appointments, back up patient check in, assist physicians/providers with minor patient procedures and other duties as assigned.


 To qualify for this role, you must possess:


{C}·         Ophthalmic Technician Certification administered by Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology.

{C}·         Two years of clinical experience in Ophthalmology as a technician

{C}·         Ability to operate ophthalmic equipment.

{C}·         Good organizational skills and good verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Good customer service skills. Ability to learn and obtain skills on the job or through educational courses.




{C}·         Ophthalmic testing experience

{C}·         Ophthalmic imaging/photography experience

{C}·         AIDET Training
