VSP Global needs a dynamic Doctor Service Representative to communicate via phone with doctors’ offices regarding lens availability, VSP plans, billing, promotions, VSP Optics Group programs, missing Rx information, job status, and other Rx-related issues.

Three years’ customer service experience

Minimum one year experience in an optical-related environment (e.g., doctor’s office, laboratory); more experience preferred

Effective verbal communication skills; position calls for accurate, speedy response to inquiries both in person and via telephone (about 90% of inquiries are phone)

Experience with computer software programs

Ability to meet the department’s performance standards and perform alpha/numeric data entry at 6,000 ksph

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of optics, lens materials, VSP plans/options and Eyefinity

Strong multi-tasking, organizational and computer skills

ABO certification
