EYECARE: Eye Health Health Care Reform Expert to Deliver Keynote Address at Vision Expo East By Staff Monday, March 3, 2014 12:00 AM NORWALK, Conn.—At this year’s Vision Expo East, Charles Posternack, M.D., will deliver the keynote address,”The Paradigm Shift in Health Care,” that will examine health care reform’s impact on the optical industry and how the pending changes are driving a transition from pay-for-performance to bundled payments. Dr. Posternack is chief medical officer at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, chairman of PFO Global, and a leading expert on health care reform. He will deliver his remarks on Friday, March 28, from 1:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. in the EyeMax Theater, located in the Continuing Education area in Hall A on Level 1. While the session is free, participants must pre-register by choosing Session #M500. This year’s conference significantly expands the scope of programs offered in the areas of New Technology and Business Solutions. The International Vision Expo & Conference also announces changes to its Conference Advisory Board with the addition of new members and, for the first time, will host a Global Contact Lens Forum.
