BOCA RATON, Fla.— Modernizing Medicine has received $14 million in equity funding from Summit Partners. The creator of the Electronic Medical Assistant (EMA) cloud-based electronic medical record (EMR) system recently partnered with Eyefinity to launch Eyefinity EHR later this year, as reported by VMail June 28, 2013.

Modernizing Medicine’s user-friendly EMA adapts to each health care provider’s unique style of practice and integrates seamlessly into the practice's workflow. Available as a native iPad application or from any web-enabled Mac or PC, Modernizing Medicine provides specialty-specific offerings for the optometry, ophthalmology, dermatology, orthopedics and plastic and cosmetic surgery markets.
