ATLANTA—The 2016 Specialty Health Summit, hosted by the National Association of Vision Care Plans (NAVCP) and the National Association of Specialty Health Organizations (NASHO), will feature a comprehensive session track devoted exclusively to managed vision care’s most pressing issues and challenges. The summit will be held at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, Tenn., May 1 to 3.

The comprehensive Vision Track agenda includes an analysis of a benchmark study on vision care utilization patterns and other consumer trends; a discussion on how today’s health care market models, including the health care exchange, and how trends are impacting Medicaid; and a session on plan designs that work well for both patients and providers. The track concludes with a panel discussion on how the managed vision care industry should respond to the growth of retail health care.
