NEW YORK—Earlier this year, the Tear Film & Ocular Surface Society (TFOS) launched a global initiative to raise awareness of an oft overlooked dry eye treatment—blinking.  The campaign, titled “Blink Around the World,” calls upon global citizens and eyecare professionals alike to send personal videos of blinks from across the globe to promote the idea that blinking—a simple act that rarely makes our attention span—is an important and necessary way to keep eyes healthy.

For a quick peek at what the project entails, take a minute (or 59 seconds, to be exact) to view TFOS’ video released at the campaign’s launch. For the full story on Blink Around the World, click here.
