ATLANTA—Interactive, comprehensive health and wellness screening kiosks, SoloHealth Stations began a nationwide rollout last week at Sam’s Clubs, a division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Currently available in select retail locations across the U.S., the free, bilingual kiosks will be installed in more than 500 Sam’s Club locations this fall and are expected to be in more than 2,500 retail locations by mid-2013.

The SoloHealth Station provides health screenings for vision, blood pressure, weight and body mass index. They also include a symptom checker and an overall health assessment. In addition, SoloHealth helps connect consumers to local professionals through its databases. SoloHealth Stations offer personalized, targeted and interactive opportunities for consumers, advertisers and retailers by placing kiosks in high-traffic retail locations and offering integration across a multi-platform ecosystem complete with digital signage, internet, mobile and social media. This approach gives brand partners, consumers and medical professionals the ease of interaction from many touch points.

The kiosk received the FDA’s stamp of approval this past June, as reported by VMail. In related SoloHealth news reported by VMail earlier this year, Dell (NASDAQ:DELL)  partnered with the company to produce and deliver thousands of its kiosks this fall, and WellPoint, Inc. (NYSE: WLP) announced a strategic relationship with SoloHealth that includes a financial investment.
