Jason Singh
CINCINNATI—OneSight, a non-profit charity dedicated to providing healthy vision, eyewear and sun protection, named Dr. Jason Singh to the newly created post of senior director, North America. In this role he is responsible for leading all OneSight charitable programs coordinated by North America, including fundraising, operations and planning/execution of global, regional and vision van clinics.

For the past few years, Singh has been a key partner as OneSight has worked to define and develop strategic objectives to deliver sustainable vision care, according to an announcement from the organization.

Most recently, Singh served as executive/medical director for Engage Mamelodi, a program designed to bring sustainable medical care to the underserved people of Mamelodi, South Africa. In this role, he focused on building a base clinic for all operations including exam rooms, manufacturing lab and research as well as developing and managing relationships with local partners. He was instrumental in helping OneSight execute their first Global Clinic in this area in 2010.

Upon his return to the U.S. earlier this year, Singh led the development of the healthcare (and specifically eyecare) strategy for OneSight partner CityLink, a city-wide charitable initiative in Cincinnati, Ohio, started by a group of social service agencies who recognized the need for integrated services.

Prior to his involvement with the Engage Mamelodi and CityLink charities, Singh had a successful independent optometry practice focused on pediatrics, urgent care and ocular disease management.

OneSight, a Luxottica Foundation, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in the U.S., dedicated to improving vision for those in need worldwide through outreach, research and education.
