DALLAS –– Essilor of America has broken ground on a new 43,000 square foot Innovation and Technology Center in Farmer’s Branch, Texas. Scheduled to open in April 2012, the facility will enable Essilor to combine its research and development and engineering resources under one roof, the company said. “By relocating the current R&D center with 50 employees in St. Petersburg, Fla. to Farmer’s Branch, Essilor will create a center that represents the company’s commitment to R&D,” a statement said.
