Candice Glover has won the 12th season of American Idol, the first female to do so since season 6. Glover, who has tried out for the show for the past three years, was an early favorite of the judges and her consistent vocals helped put her in the top spot week after week. Trained early on as a gospel singer, America has been blown away all season by her ability to sing many different genres if music flawlessly. Eve has been a favorite of Bold Face’s since 2001's "Let Me Blow Ya Mind." Since then she has had a successful acting career, but the rapper finally went back to the studio to work on her first album since 2007. The album Lip Lock was released under Eve's own label FTR Music on May 14 but her promotional single "She Bad Bad" is already a favorite on Spotify. Eve hit up the recent Coachella Music Festival and even performed songs from the new album. She also happened to rock some serious festival fashion with a street edge including the Federico sunglasses by Sama Eyewear…

 

Carrie Underwood is another American Idol success story. She rose to fame as the winner of the season 4 of the show in 2005 and, as of early 2013, she has sold more than 13 million album copies and over 27 million digital tracks in the U.S. She has spent most of the last year on her Blown Away Tour. The second leg of the tour started in February 2013, with all new dates being sold out so far and breaking records. In fact the tour will have its own exhibition at the Country Music Hall of Fame, called "Carrie Underwood: The Blown Away Tour Exhibition", starting on June 5. Despite how busy she is, Underwood has still managed to find time to be a devoted wife and to pose for the June issue of Marie Claire magazine. She also found a little time to unwind in the sun recently and was snapped wearing the Gucci 2772 sunglasses from Safilo.
