MILAN— Allison S.p.A. has signed a license with the Asolo, Italy-based, Fashion Box S.p.A., owner of the brands Replay, Replay & Sons, We Are Replay and Red Seal, for the Replay branded production of sunglasses and optical frames for men and women.

The license has an initial term of five years with a worldwide distribution structure based on different levels. The collection will be sold directly to opticians in all the major European countries, while in the rest of the world it will be available through selected distributors. The sun collection will also be carried in all the Replay stores. The first Replay collection from Allison is scheduled to launch in March 2013 at Mido.

Replay is an Italian brand of denim and casual wear, accessories and shoes for men, women and children. Part of the Fashion Box S.p.a. group, it was created in 1978 by Claudio Buziol and is a world leader in the field of jeans. Fashion Box, founded in 1981, is today present in all European markets, the Middle East, Asia, America and Africa. The wholesale distribution network has 3,000 points of sale, including approximately 200 retail stores, in over 50 countries.

The Replay Eyewear license had previously been signed with Marcolin S.p.A in 1997 and expires at the end of this year.
