Abel Promoted to Director of IT for Block Buying Group

BOCA RATON, Fla.—Block Buying Group has promoted Scott Abel to director of Information Technology. Scott has been with Block since 2008. Prior to his promotion, Scott served as business development manager. President of Block Buying Group, Michael Block commented, “Scott has proven to be a valuable resource to Block Buying Group in the areas of research, information technology, and social media.” Scott will continue this work in his new role. Recently, he completed his course work for his MBA from the University of Florida, Gainesville. ■
