This is a full-time Opthalmic Tech opportunity at Dreyer Medical Clinic in Aurora, Il. The ophthalmic technician, under the direct supervision of an ophthalmologist, assists in direct and indirect patient care. Includes case histories, visual acuity measurement, visual field testing, refractometry, contact lenses, instrument maintenance and assisting the doctor with minor ophthalmic surgery. Qualifications: 1+ years experience in Ophthalmology and demonstrates proficiency in refracting and applanation tonometry. We will consider new graduates of an Accredited Ophthalmic Technician Program. Established by physicians in 1922, Dreyer Medical Clinic is an affiliate of Advocate Health Care.
