We are recruiting for a motivated and talented Office Manager to assist in the management of our latest venture: an office-based plastic surgery practice located in beautiful downtown Clearwater. Our Clearwater office opened in January 2013 and features a state-of-the art plastic surgery clinic and an office-based surgery suite. Successful candidates will have supervisory/management experience in a medical office setting; plastic/cosmetic and/or other surgical practice experience is highly desired. Must have ability to multi-task in a high energy environment and the ability to work face-to-face in a sales/presentation setting. Must also demonstrate excellent communication and business/operations planning skills.
The Office Manager will oversee daily operations within areas of responsibilities and delegates authority to assigned supervisors/coordinators in developing and implementing short and long-term plans and objectives for clinical and clerical functions. Develops guidelines for prioritizing work activities, evaluates effectiveness, and modifies activities as necessary. Ensures that office is staffed appropriately. Assists in the hiring, orientation, development and evaluation of staff. Establishes and maintains an efficient and responsive patient flow system. Supports and upholds established policies, procedures, objectives, quality improvement, financial responsibilities, safety, environmental and infection control, and codes and requirements of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
Implements policy and procedure, directs staff and measures the daily operational functions of the practice in coordination with the management team and the physicians to achieve the optimal efficiency and quality of patient care.
Actively communicates and participates with the physicians and serves as a model of leadership within the practice; trouble shoots with staff to encourage team input to resolve issues and implement new ideas; works to create an environment of teamwork and cooperation. Ensures a high level of patient satisfaction, responds to any patient complaints and escalates for review, if necessary, in order to resolve issues.
