Grumbling Named Sr. VP of Product Development at PEI Manufacturing

PORTLAND, Ore.—PEI Manufacturing, based here, has named Jeff Grumbling as senior vice president of product development. Grumbling will be chiefly responsible for initiating business contacts and building customer relationships in the optical industry for PEI. The company’s service capabilities include manufacturing of precision OEM parts, injection and thermal molded plastics, foams and specialty packaging.
Grumbling has more than 25 years of optical experience as well as a strong knowledge of the industry. After starting his career with Pearle Vision, he spent 13 years with Wal-Mart in both the retail optical and lab division, the last seven of which he served as director of operations. Most recently, Grumbling was director of operations for Carl Zeiss Vision and was responsible for half the company’s U.S. lab division.
