You know you've really made it when colleges start bestowing honorary degrees on you. Such is the case with Ann Curry. She received an honorary degree from both Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island and an honorary doctorate from the Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts in 2010. She has been host of "Dateline NBC" since May 2005 and is also the primary substitute for Brian Williams on NBC Nightly News. She was the news anchor on NBC's "Today" show, a role she began in March 1997, but this month Curry was named Meredith Vieira's replacement as co-host of "Today" along with Matt Lauer and Al Roker. Just because Ms. Curry is an accomplished journalist who has spent time in the trenches to report a story doesn't mean she can't appreciate a little glamour, like these Fendi FS5097 sunglasses from Marchon

Debra Messing has her parents to thank for insisting she get a good education before pursuing a career in acting. Thanks to them she graduated summa cum laude from Brandeis University and went on to receive a Master's Degree in Fine Arts from the elite Graduate Acting Program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts which accepts on average only 15 new students a year. Best known as Grace Adler on the NBC sitcom "Will & Grace," Messing is making her return to primetime TV this fall with a new NBC musical pilot called "Smash." A series based on the production of a Broadway musical about the life of Marilyn Monroe, "Smash" has been filming in NYC and Messing has been snapped wearing the Chelsea optical frame in olive from Sama Eyewear for her portrayal of lyricist Julia…

After a successful modeling career, Angie Harmon got her breakthrough acting role as the clever ADA Abbie Carmichael on NBC's long running series "Law & Order." Now she plays tough Boston homicide detective, Jane Rizzoli, on TNT's "Rizzoli and Isles." Brash, brilliant, and often prickly, Rizzoli is a confident, independent police detective and tom-boy daughter of an over-protective Italian mother. In real life, Harmon isn't afraid to show a little bit of her cerebral, sexy side though in this bebe BB5003 optical style from Altair with leopard print endpieces and temples. Tune in to the season premiere of "Rizzoli and Isles" on TNT on July 11 to see how Harmon's character fares after last season's gunshot cliffhanger.
