PADOVA, Italy—According to a statement released today by Sàfilo Group S.p.A. [SFL:MI], their June 24 request for a postponement of loan payments due on June 30 has been approved by their creditor banks. The new due date for payment is Dec. 31, 2009.

FAIRFAX, Va.—The Optical Laboratories Association announced today that it is rescheduling its 2009 annual meeting and trade exhibition to Dec. 4 and 5. The meeting, which will take place at the Gaylord National hotel in Washington, D.C., had originally been scheduled for Nov. 12 to 14 in the same location.
